Bruce
is a seasoned veteran of venture capital with more than 15 years
experience in high-tech investing. Prior to Benchmark, Bruce spent
six years as a general partner with Merrill, Pickard, Anderson &
Eyre (MPAE). Before MPAE, Bruce served as general manager of the
Personal Computer Division of Everex Systems, which he founded and
grew to a multi-hundred million-dollar business unit. Bruce also
worked in investment banking for three years at Goldman, Sachs &

Over the past 10 years, Gary has been a private venture capital

Netscape), and Medior (acquired by America Online).
Prior to forming his own investment practice, Gary was a partner
with Merrill, Pickard, Anderson & Eyre, an early stage venture
capital firm focused on technology. He was also a partner at Robertson,
Stephens & Co., focused on equity research in the software sector.
He began his investment career in public market investing at Dodge
